Annual Car Parking Permits

Pay once and park for a whole year for less than 14p a day at nine car parks in and around River Lee Country Park.

Our £75 annual pass means that if you’re a frequent visitor to the many attractions of the 1,000 acre park and think that you’ll pay to park more than 25 times a year it’ll be cheaper for you to buy a permit.

The car parks in the scheme are:

  • Broxbourne Old Mill and Meadows

  • Cheshunt Country Walk

  • Clayton Hill

  • Cornmill Meadows

  • Fishers Green

  • Gunpowder Park

  • Hooks Marsh

  • Pindar

  • Waltham Abbey Gardens

Please note, the annual car parking permits are not valid at Lee Valley White Water Centre or at Broxbourne Riverside car park. To find out more about car parking charges at Lee Valley White Water Centre, please click here.

Please be advised that from 1 June the price of our annual permits has increased to £75 per annum. We hope that you understand that this decision was taken after careful consideration following an unprecedented year which has seen huge pressures on local authorities. For this reason, we need to generate funds to help our open spaces continue to be first rate habitats for plants and wildlife and places that people want to visit.

We feel the new fee is still great value for money – equating to roughly 20p per day – and remains in line with other permits in the local area. We will use the money raised from car park charges and annual permits to continue to maintain our open spaces to a high standard and bring improvements in the future.

You’ll be issued with a permit that you'll need to print and show in your vehicle. Please note – we use a mixture of warden enforcement and ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) systems at our car parks so always make sure that your permit is visible and legible.

We’ll email your permit for you to print out, but please note it will take seven days to be valid from when you buy it. Please factor this in to your visit.

If you want us to send you a printed permit, select this option when completing your purchase. There’s an extra £5 administration fee.

Please ensure you read the Car Parking Permit Terms and Conditions and the Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Car parking permit renewal

In order to ensure continued cover you need to renew your car parking permits at least seven days prior to the expiry date.

When renewing you permits you'll be asked to enter a renewal date, this date should be 12 months from the date your existing permit is due to expire e.g. if your current permit expires on 1 June 2020, you'll need to enter 31 May 2021

Changed your car?

Update us with a new registration number by emailing us at carparkingpermits@leevalleypark.org.uk. We charge a £10 administration fee for this.

Discounted permits

We give discounts for angling club members who regularly fish our waters, and for members of clubs which are tenants of the park in recognition of the licence fee paid.

These are:

  • Broxbourne Model Railway Club
