Wander from Lee Valley White Water Centre

Date: 16 June

Time: 11:00

Location: Lee Valley White Water Centre

FREE

This week's walk in the park starts at the iconic Lee Valley Water Centre which hosts international sporting events. Our walk leader will then take you round the tranquil lakes and rivers of the River Lee Country Park identifying and exploring the delights around Fishers Green.

The lakes, reed beds and grasslands of Fishers Green are an excellent place in which to start to explore the 1,000 acre River Lee Country Park. Our work for wildlife here means as well as a pleasant and relaxing walk, you might see a host of wildlife spectacles that use this special place.

This summer walk will have plenty of wildlife to see so look out for Kingfishers, Herons and range of different ducks. You will also have the opportunity to drop into the Wildlife Discovery Centre learn more about our fantastic wildlife that calls our park home.
