Lifewalks

Lifewalks

Lifewalks is a walking for health scheme which takes place in various walking routes within Lee Valley. Each walk will encourage you to walk a little faster than usual and all abilities are welcome.

These walks are a great chance to meet new people whilst leading a more active lifestyle.

Lifewalks take place on Tuesdays (10:00), Wednesday (10:30), Thursdays (10:00), Fridays (10:00) and Sundays (10:30). Walking routes vary between 1.6 – 3 miles long.

Meeting points include the following:

  • River Lee Country Park (Fishers Green) - main car park

  • Lee Valley White Water Centre - Reception

  • Gunpowder Park - main car park

  • River Lee Country Park (Hooks Marsh) - main car park

  • Waltham Abbey Gardens - main car park

  • River Lee Country Park (Pindar) - main car park

  • Lee Valley Ice Centre - Reception

  • Lee Valley Athletics Centre - Reception

New to Lifewalks

The Lifewalk leaders will introduce you to the group so you can get to know other walkers and we often have volunteers on hand who'll happily walk with you. However slow or fast you can walk when you first join Lifewalks, most people find they can walk more quickly within just a few weeks.
