Reedbed Survey

Are you curious about what life exists in some of the oldest original reedbeds in London? Join us for a day of general surveying of the reedbed adjacent to Cody Dock, Canning Town. We'll be mapping the survey area, and recording invetebreate and plant life living amongst the reedbeds! This work will inform future conservation interventions. Waterproof wellie boots and survey kit will be provided. What this event will involve: Identification of plant and invertebrate species. Experience in sampling techniques. Data collection and recording of our findings What we’re looking for from you: An interest in biodiversity/ecology/entomology. Enthusiasm for the project & the objectives of Cody Dock. This event is 18+ years only Bring a reusable water bottle and/or coffee cup, and a packed lunch or money for the cafe. See you in the reeds!
