The Line

Location:

Wellbeing Walk, 10:00 –12:00

Join us for a guided walk along a section of The Line, where you'll encounter public artworks set against the River Lea and East London's waterways. Led by a mindfulness practitioner and one of our Youth Guides, the walk explores themes of memory, belonging and connection – pausing to notice wildlife, engage with art, and take part in gentle mindful activities. It will be taken at a relaxed pace with plenty of opportunities to stop and rest.

Meet at the Stephenson Street exit, DLR Star Lane Station, E16 4PA – look out for our Youth Guide in a blue The Line t-shirt!

Please arrive 5–10 minutes early. Some sections currently have limited wheelchair access due to path surfaces and gradients.

Free – booking require

Family Workshop, 13:00 – 17:00

Join us at Canning Town Library for a free, drop-in workshop led by our Youth Guides, inspired by the artworks nearby and the nature along East London's waterways. Alongside an exhibition about the emerging plans for Limmo Peninsula's new neighbourhood, get creative, and enjoy free activities inspired by works on The Line nearby.

Canning Town Library, Daisy Parsons Room, 18 Rathbone Market, E16 1EH (Canning Town station).

Step-free access, accessible toilets and baby-changing facilities. Refreshments available.
