Dragonfly and Damselfly Survey

We invite you to join us at the Paddock for our weekly survey in 2025! Whether you are an expert or complete beginner this will be a chance to get outdoors and explore the wildlife on your doorstep.

What to expect:

- A short talk on local dragonflies and damselflies species ID.

- A guided survey of the site.

-The data collected will help us develop the Paddock into a Local Nature Reserve.

- By booking onto multiple sessions you’ll gain a deeper understanding of seasonal cycles, and improve your I.D. skills.

Pre-booking is essential, book now to confirm a place.

Please be aware Eventbrite booking closes one day before each surveying event at 5pm.

You will be issued with a field recording sheet, species guide sheets, a clipboard and a pencil.

If you own further ID guides/books, you are welcome to bring them along.

Individual surveys will run outdoors for about an hour, please be sure to check the weather/temperature and dress accordingly.
