Anki - 35ft x 10ft steel Dutch Cruiser (1980) with mooring at Springfield Marina, E5, London. I’m selling my beautiful Dutch cruiser which has been lovingly restored and refurbed inside and out. 

I’ve owned Anki since 2017 and am sad to be selling, but my partner also has a boat in the marina so it’s the right time for someone else to enjoy her. It’s a great boat for one person or a couple. 

There is good head height in the wheelhouse and front cabin, and the distinct areas combined with lots of natural light make it feel very spacious inside. 

The two large decks and roof make a great spot for chilling outside in the summer. Anki is moored on the Marshside at Springfield Marina on the River Lea which is a beautiful setting and part of the Hackney & Walthamstow Marshes nature reserve. 

From the boat you can’t see any buildings, just trees and wildlife and there are no traffic sounds - it’s very easy to forget you are in London, but it’s just a 15 minute walk from Clapton or easy bus links to Manor House/Finsbury park for the Victoria/Piccadilly line. 

The marina has a welcoming and supportive community, there is always someone around happy to have a chat or lend a hand if needed - it’s a great place if you are new to boating to learn the ropes (literally!) It’s a secure mooring with fob regulated access and the marina has an on site shower/toilet block with hot running water, launderette facilities and elsan (toilet) disposal.

You can also buy wood, coal, diesel and other boating essentials from the office. Mooring fees are £516/month. There is an additional 10% on purchase price of boat to be paid to the marina to transfer the mooring to the new owner.
