Public transport

By car
From junction 26 of the M25:
Follow the A121 towards Waltham Abbey.
Continue forward over each roundabout.
At T-junction (facing Royal Gunpowder Mills) turn left towards Waltham Cross along Highbridge Street.
The entrance to the centre is after approximately 100m on the right.
From junction 25 of the M25:
Join the A10 towards Hertford.
At the first roundabout turn right onto the B198 for Waltham Cross.
Turn right at the next roundabout and left at a further roundabout to join Eleanor Cross Road / Station Road for one mile.
The entrance to the centre is on the left, opposite Jewson’s.
Car parking
At peak periods our car park is very busy so we advise if you are taking part in a group activity within your support bubble, to car share if possible. Alternatively we’re just a 10 minute walk away from Waltham Cross Station
On Thursday 1 April, car parking tariffs will be introduced at this venue.
Visitors who have a pre-booked activity will receive free parking for up to four hours, alongside blue badge holders. There’ll also be a short grace period of up to 20 minutes to allow for drop-offs and collections.
Café visitors who spend over £5 will also receive up to four hours of free parking.
Tariffs for customers with a pre-booked activity and café users past four hours:
0 to 4 hours: £0
4 - 8 hours: £2
8 - 24 hours: £25
Each additional 24 hour period: £25
Tariffs for general visitors:
Blue Badge Holders: £0
20 minutes drop off / grace period: £0

Please note: Car parking permits for our open spaces are not valid at Lee Valley White Water Centre.
Methods of payment
Get the app: Download the free Y Pay app from www.y-pay.co.uk. Available for both IOS and Android, the app allows you to pay for parking from your smartphone.
By machine: Alternatively you can use one of our two pay and display machines. These are located near the main building (drop off zone) and at the bottom of the car park next to the pathway leading up to Pavilion.
FAQ's
It’s your responsibility to enter your full vehicle registration details into the terminals on site correctly and note when your four hours free parking period expires.
Please remember to do this on every visit to avoid receiving a fixed Penalty Charge Notice. Please also ensure you follow the T&Cs displayed within the car park.

What if I want to stay longer than four hours?
If you’re taking part in an activity and wish to stay past four hours you’ll need to pay for the additional time you spend at the venue past the four free hours.
Will my friends and family who are coming to watch me take part in an activity, but arrived in a separate vehicle, have to pay for parking?
Yes, but they can get free four hours parking if they spend more than £5 in the café.
What if I have more than one activity session booked at the venue which will take me over the four hour limit?
If taking part in more than one session you can revalidate your parking prior to the second session when checking in for that session.
How do I appeal if I have received a Penalty Charge Notice?
