Keeping you safe at Lee Valley Golf Course
Throughout the Coronavirus outbreak, keeping our visitors, staff and volunteers safe has been our top priority. To help ensure everyone’s safety we need you to follow these instructions:
NHS Test and Trace
When visiting our venues you must check in with the NHS Test and Trace app as required by Government guidelines. Scan the QR code on the NHS Test and Trace poster which is displayed where you arrive and then complete you details. If you don’t have a smart phone or you run into any problems our staff are on hand to help. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
Booking and coming to the site
We’re currently only opening for pay and play golf, no competitions, groups or societies. Four-ball games are permitted
Tee times must booked and be paid for in advance using our online booking system
If you or anyone in your household is experiencing any signs of illness do not come to the golf course
Golfers who are classed as clinically vulnerable are advised to stay home as much as possible, if they decide to play golf they are asked to take particular care to minimise contact with individuals outside of their household
You must maintain 2m between yourself and others at all times
Face coverings are mandatory for all customers when entering the venue’s receptions, shops and catering outlet. They can be removed if instructed by a member of staff so that activities can be undertaken and for consuming food
While hand sanitiser will be available on site bring your own to have with you at all times when you play
When parking, make sure you park far enough away from anyone else to avoid contact with other people. If other people are nearby, please wait for them to go before you get out of your car
Do not arrive more than 15 minutes before the start of your round
Changing rooms, toilets and vending machines are all closed
Please bring only what you need for your round. Take everything home that you bring. Please don’t litter
We’re currently not hiring golf buggies, clubs or trolleys
During your round
The flag sticks are to remain in the hole when putting
Ball wash handles and bunker rakes have been removed. Please smooth the bunker sand with the reverse side of your golf club when you leave the bunker
Your round of golf should not exceed three hours
The benches around the golf course have been taped off. Don’t use them. Refrain from social gatherings
Leaving the site
When you finish your round, please leave the course straight away
Take care in the car park and, if there are people near your car, wait for them to go before you get into yours. Just as with your round of golf, don’t have social gatherings in the car park
Our staff
There will be a Course Marshall on the course. They’ll be in an enclosed buggy to ensure social distancing at all times
Your e-receipt from your booking will act as your green fee ticket – if requested please show this to the Course Marshall
