Keeping you safe at our angling venues

COVID-19 Health & Safety Guidance

With regards to the recent Government advice we would like to advise you of the following guidelines:

  • Ensure that you wear gloves and/or use antibacterial gel that contains alcohol before and after opening and closing gates and padlocks, in particular combination locks.

  • Ensure that the 2m social distancing is observed at all times.

  • Wash your hands at every given opportunity especially after sneezing or coughing. Antibacterial gel that contains alcohol is fine to use until you can get to a proper hand washing facility.

  • Don’t be embarrassed to wear gloves or a mask, preferably a homemade one in line with Government advice. Just remember to try not to touch the mask while in use. Both must then be disposed of immediately after use.

  • No sharing of tackle or any other equipment is permitted.

  • DO NOT LEAVE HOME if you have symptoms of COVID-19 please call 111 and follow government guidelines.

  • The anglers using our venues are acting as ambassadors to prove that the public can undertake greater freedoms while still following the governments advice, please bear this in mind when you’re out to help to make this work, stay safe and act responsibly.

Should you have any concerns please do contact the Fisheries Office at your earliest opportunity on 01992 892 291.
