Winter Wildlife Discovery
Date: 3 December
Time: 11:00
Location: River Lee Country Park
FREE
This month’s volunteer guided walk in the park leads you round the tranquil lakes and rivers of the River Lee Country Park identifying and exploring the delights around Fishers Green and specifically looking at the northern part of the sculpture trail.
The lakes, reed beds and grasslands of Fishers Green are an excellent place in which to start to explore the 1,000-acre River Lee Country Park. Our work for wildlife here means as well as a pleasant and relaxing walk, you might see a host of wildlife spectacles that use this special place.
This winter walk will have plenty of wildlife to see so look out for Kingfishers, herons and ducks. Our walk starts at the Wildlife Discovery Centre where you may be lucky enough to see a Bittern.
