Starting at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre, learn about the sites long historical association with sport and how it was transformed into a conditioning and training ground during the Olympics, then the Wheelchair Tennis venue for the Paralympics – and then again, into today’s world-class hockey and tennis venue which is open every day for anyone to enjoy

You’ll then be led through part of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and experience the transformation of the park grounds. You’ll see where the Olympic Basketball Arena once stood and how the Athletes Village has been regenerated to become a residential area which is now home to around 6000 people.

Take a selfie with the Paralympic Agitos logo and stand where the Riverside Arena once was as you then make your way back towards the iconic Lee Valley VeloPark – not forgetting to get an Olympic ring selfie as you go past – and finish at the first venue in the world where you can take part in the four Olympic cycling disciplines. Step inside this epic venue which staged the track cycling events and provided some of the Games’ most exciting moments. Experience what it was like to be trackside watching those moments unfold. Lee Valley VeloPark is now home to four Olympic cycling disciplines and open to all, from those who regularly train to those who want to experience the track.

Once you've finished your walk, continue your Olympic journey and explore our 10 Years On free exhibition which takes place within Lee Valley VeloPark overlooking the iconic 42 degree track. Find out more here
