The tour will be led by Alan Revel, who has been following kingfishers in east London since early 2021 after first spotting one on the River Lea on Hackney Marshes. In his spare time he regularly visits the wetlands, Hackney Marshes and Regent's Canal spotting these beautiful birds and trying to capture in video and photographs their activities over the course of the year.

This is a gentle tour around the reserve on paths - there may be some gentle inclines so strong stout footwear is recommended. The tour will last approximately 2 hours and will be fully outdoors - so dress for the weather! If you have binoculars bring them along, but it’s not essential.
This event is for over 18s and children over 12 accompanied by an adult. Further information will be sent out prior to the event.
