Please arrive 10 minutes before the walk is scheduled to begin. This will allow time for you pay for any parking and that your leader has time to check everyone in.

Learn more about the importance of this site as former Royal Ordnance munitions testing facility.
The area you will walk around will encompass a huge variety of habitats from landscaped areas, wet woodland, converted building that are now a safe haven for bats, marshland and lakes.
A fantastic range of wildlife now makes this site their home and throughout this walk you will be start to understand why this site is so special.
Walk information
This walk can take between 2 to 2.5 hours
Our walks are predominately on flat gravel paths but there may be some uneven ground at times
Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead
Part of this walk is along unsurfaced footpaths and is not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.
Please bring water and snacks to keep you energised
