The iconic London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games track cycling venue will host a panel discussion and Q and A on the story behind how Lee Valley VeloPark was created and designed, how it delivers the cycling legacy from the Games every day and the phenomenal growth of cycling for sport, fitness, leisure and travel.
The panel will be made up of:
Mike Taylor, Hopkins architect who designed the multi award winning iconic building
Shaun Dawson, Chief Executive of Lee Valley Regional Park Authority which owns Lee Valley VeloPark and whose vision led firstly to the creation of the venue with four cycling disciplines in one place and then to an hugely successful post Games programme
Andy Farr, British Cycling's Head of Business Plannning and Transportation
Chaired by Peter Murray, the curator –in-chief of New London Architecture
