Come and hear how Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre was created, transforming Eton Manor to home London 2012’s only purpose-built Paralympic venue.
Led by, Rawden Pettitt from Stanton Williams – who lives a stone’s throw away - and Lee Valley Regional Park Authority’s Chief Executive, Shaun Dawson, this talk will reveal the sporting history of the site and the unique transformation of this area, first a training ground for Olympic athletes then the wheelchair tennis venue for the Paralympics and how it’s now a world-class hockey and tennis venue for all to enjoy.
Following on from the talk, they’ll be an opportunity to tour the venue and surrounding areas.
