Wild Wednesdays - 'Whodunnit?’ Family Orienteering Competition
Our 'Wild Wednesday' family events taking place every Wednesday during the school holidays!
Bring your family and take part in an orienteering competition with a difference.
Can you become a wildlife detective team, navigating the orienteering course and uncovering the mystery of who or what raided the bird box? Gain points for every correct clue, naming 'whodunnit' and have the opportunity for bonus points too.
Which team will become the reigning Champion and chief detectives?
All participants receive a certificate and the winning team will receive certificates and prizes!
Upon booking, please make sure you enter your car registration. This will allow you free parking for the event
Tickets are only required for participating children ages 4-12. Accompanying adults are free
Activities will take place both outside and inside; please dress appropriately for the weather and ground conditions on the day
Indoor activities will take place at the Abbey Farmhouse, adjacent to the Olive Branch Cafe
Please note participant's push chairs and wheelchairs will need to navigate grass areas
All children must be accompanied by an adult
By train: the nearest station is Waltham Cross on the Liverpool Street line (20 minute walk)
By bus: the 251 goes from the station to the town
By car: Waltham Abbey is a 5 minute drive from the M25 (J26)
Booking for participating children is recommended for Wild Wednesdays as there are limited spaces for each event, however you may turn up on the day. Adults are FREE.
