Meadows come alive in late summer, the air buzzes with the calls of grasshoppers and crickets while colourful butterflies and moths flit between wildflowers. Birds of prey can often be seen hovering above hunting for the small mammals hidden beneath the grass.
Join Lee Valley Regional Park staff for a walk around some of our grasslands to take a closer look at some of the animals that live there. Find out what the Park is doing to help manage and protect these important habitats, including the recent introduction of some Old English Goats.
