A Walk in the Park - River Lee Country Park Sculpture Trail

You will have a leisurely and scenic walk to explore the River Lee Country Park and discover a series of sculptures dotted around the area.

Many of the sculptures are made in different styles and from different materials but they're all tell a story and are here to be enjoyed. Take in the beauty of these fantastic works of art, touch, climb and explore them to your heart's content.

The walk will also wind through the beautiful River Lee Country Park which is full of wildlife - you can look out for Muntjac Deer and at this time of year there may be the start of autumn bird migration. Watch for Hobbies catching dragonflies above the reedbeds or Swallows and Martins that may be building up ready for the journey to Africa. There may still be some late Common Tern young on the rafts before they fledge ready for the migration to the west coast of Africa for the winter.

The path system is good so the walking is very easy but this is a long walk which can take up to three hours if all the sculptures are visited. Depending on the time of the first half of the walk and how long people want to look at the sculptures we may leave some to visit another day!
