A Walk in the Park - North Monthly Walk Woodlands
Celebrating five decades of Lee Valley Regional Park, this week's 'A Walk in the Park' joins the Lee Valley Ranger Team identifying and exploring the historical properties of trees around Fishers Green Island.
The lakes, reed beds and grasslands of Fishers Green are an excellent place in which to start to explore the 1,000 acre River Lee Country Park. The woodland in this area is ideal for many breeds of birds including the Nightingale so listen out for their melodic song.
