During this week's walk celebrating Lee Valley Regional Park's Golden Anniversary, we will visit the former ironworks, shipyard and coal wharf which is now a real wildlife haven in the urban environment. Bow Creek is a fascinating place to visit any time of year, and one that’s won the prestigious Green Flag Park Award for four years running.
Within sight of Canary Wharf and the O2 Arena, you’ll discover the old East India Dock Basin, now enjoying a new lease of life as an amazing wildlife sanctuary.

NOTE: Meeting point is at Canning Town station
There is no parking at Bow Creek Ecology Park or East India Dock Basin, the nearest car park is at is the Excel Centre where charges may apply. The North entrance to Bow Creek Ecology Park is Bidder Street and the West entrance is over the blue bridge.
Canning Town station is served by the London Underground Jubilee line, the Docklands Light Railway and local buses operated for London Buses.
