2019 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup London presented by Jaffa
The ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup is an annual series of five races, with the first one taking place in the UK at Lee Valley White Water Centre, the venue built for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The 2019 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup London presented by Jaffa will be a value for money, fun day out for all the family, with opportunities to try paddle sport, alongside supporting the British team as they take on the world’s best paddlers as part of their preparations for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
The World Cup includes four individual events – Kayak (K)1 men, K1 women, Canoe (C)1 men, and C1 women –the medal events at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, alongside the C2 mixed competition.
The World Cup event will also include Extreme Slalom, an emerging discipline in the sport that involves four paddlers racing against each other in boats down the white water course.

The venue opens one hour prior to competition and closes 30 minutes after competition
Small amounts of food and non-alcoholic drinks for personal consumption, in a small bag no bigger than 35cm x 40cm x 19cm can be bought into the venue
There will be a large range of catering concessions on offer to purchase food and drinks
All persons and bags are subject to search upon arrival
By car: Lee Valley White Water Centre is 10 minutes from the M25 London motorway (either junction 25 or junction 26). Car parking is provided on the Showground adjacent to the venue. Car parking is £5 per day.
By train: the nearest stations are Waltham Cross or Cheshunt (18 minute walk)
By bus: the 211, 212, 213, 240, 250 and 251 buses all stop on Station Road
