Dobbs Weir (Disabled Site)

Disabled Angler Permit

Lee Valley Regional Park offers a special permit to disabled anglers for the use of specifically designed disabled swims on seven of the fisheries.  This allows the holder to fish and, if required, take one companion who may fish provided that this does not interfere with other permit holders or exceeds permit holders individual rod use allocation.  Most of these sites are not exclusive to disabled people however disabled anglers have priority over the designated swims only.  This permit allows day (dawn to dusk) angling only and is designed for use on these specific sites and swims only.

The Season runs from 16th June to 14th March inclusive except on the Gravel Pits: Nazeing Meads, Boot Pit and The North Met Pit where the season ends on the 15th June.

The disabled sites covered by this permit are as follows: Dobbs Weir Disabled site. Nazeing Meads Centre and North Lagoons: 4 x Swims (Not Brackens Pool). Slipe Lane, Boot Pit: 2 x Swims. North Met Pit: 7 x Swims, Old River Lea, Fishers Green: 3 x Swims. Lee Flood Relief Channel Hooks Marsh: 9 x Swims.
