This 1st4sport accredited course provides the first rung on the ladder to a career as a qualified and globally recognised sports coach.

Professional 'Strength & Conditioning' coaches are employed by premier football and rugby clubs, gym chains, a wide variety of elite sports clubs, sports colleges and as personal trainers.


  • 16 R.E.P.S. points awarded via the Register of Exercise Professionals
  • 7 SkillsActive endorsed credits
  • 20 C.P.D. Continuous Professional Development for fitness professionals and sports coaches.
  • Eligibility for 1st4sport Level 2 and Level 3 Award in Coaching Strength & Conditioning for Sport (QCF) course qualifications
  • Full ‘Assistant’ Coach status
