Methods of payment for day tickets

•    At the payment machine within the car park, to be paid at any point before you leave
•    Online at paybyphone.co.uk (there is an extra administration fee for using this service)
•    By phone 0330 400 7275 (there is an extra administration fee for using this service)

Each vehicle gets one hour free a day at each car park – so if you have a free hour starting at 08:00 one day at one of the car parks you won’t be able to have a free hour at, for example, 17:00 that day at the same car park. The machines reset themselves for this free parking at midnight.

How do I appeal if I have received a Penalty Charge Notice?

Please be aware that Lee Valley Regional Park Authority is not involved in the issuing of or the appeals process for any Penalty Charge Notice given.

The car park is run by ParkingEye and in the event of a customer appealing their parking charge all appeals are dealt with directly by them. You would need to contact ParkingEye as per the details on their charge letter, which is via one of the following methods: in writing to ParkingEye, PO Box 575, Chorley, PR6 6HT or via the online appeals form at parkingeye.co.uk/Appeal

Please note that Lee Valley Regional Park Authority does not profit in any way from the issuing of Penalty Charge Notices and we will support an appeal if the customer has abided by and followed the car parking terms and conditions fully.

Lee Valley Regional Park's open spaces

Lee Valley Regional Park’s open spaces attract around 4.5 million visits every year. These high quality parklands, many of which have the prestigious Green Flag award, require daily upkeep to ensure they provide the best possible habitat for plants and wildlife, and are places people continue to enjoy.

Like all bodies that receive public funding, we constantly review how we finance the activities and experiences we provide. We’ll use the money raised from car park charges to maintain our open spaces to a high standard and bring improvements in the future.

We appreciate that this is a change to what’s happened in the past, but we hope you understand reasons for doing this and continue to visit.

PLEASE NOTE: Gunpowder Park and Waltham Abbey Gardens car parks are open 24 hours. Clayton Hill, Fishers Green, Hooks Marsh and Cornmill Meadows are locked at the times specified below:
