Bringing visitors closer to wildlife with a new Bittern Information Point and bird hide

Lee Valley Regional Park Authority is delighted to announce the development of a new Bittern Information Point and bird hide.
Due to open in spring 2020, visitors will be able to get closer than ever to the diverse wildlife that makes Seventy Acres lake its home throughout the year.
The new facilities will hopefully include a viewing tower which provides a completely different perspective to watch wildlife as well as a two tier viewing platform inside the hide to offer enhanced viewing angles and photography. A CCTV system will provide stunning up close footage, along with a new nest box camera.
Don’t worry, you’ll still be able to enjoy the current hide as building works aren’t due to start until spring 2020.
