Wild Wednesday Autumn Activity Afternoon

Celebrate Lee Valley Park's 50th Anniversary with the last 'Wild Wednesday' family event that have been running throughout the school holidays this year.

Explore Cornmill Meadows and Abbey Gardens in this colourful season with your imagination, games, stories and art.

Get creative making Cornmill Meadows critters with natural objects such as the fallen treasures of autumn and clay and design an enchanted area for them to ‘live’ in.

Create masks, scavenger sticks and dream catchers and immerse yourself in this season of change.

Essential Info

  • Activities will take place both outside and inside, therefore please dress appropriately for the weather and ground conditions on the day

  • Please note participant's push chairs and wheelchairs will need to navigate grass areas

  • All children must be accompanied by an adult

  • Limited parking at Waltham Abbey Gardens

Getting there

By train: the nearest station is Waltham Cross on the Liverpool Street line (20 minute walk)

By bus: the 251 goes from the station to the town

By car: Waltham Abbey is a 5 minute drive from the M25 (J26)


Pre-booking is recommended for Wild Wednesdays activities as there are limited spaces for each event. By booking online you will receive a 10% discount! There will be a limited number of spaces available on the day.
