What was said about us last year...
The steel band was a nice surprise on the day, it helped to keep me relaxed and I had a great day.
I was extremely impressed with how the race was organised and the support before and after, so nice to receive a photo without having to pay for it.
An excellent race for all abilities. I was pleasantly surprised with this race. I did not know what to expect when I cycled up from South London to the Lee Valley. What I found was great organisation, a pretty run winding along paths through the marsh land, space to run, chip timing, a fast course (I got a PB) and lots of happy marshals.
Event was great and marshal's good directions and encouragement cheers.
Just to let you know that I thought the event was superbly well organised, well done.
A great local run, very well marshalled and organised. Lovely scenery around the Lee Valley marshes and wetlands made for an enjoyable Sunday morning 10km. Many thanks to the organisers!
Thank you so much for a great event - we had a great time! It was really well organised with a beautiful course. Also, the encouragement and support from those marshalling was very much appreciated.
We will definitely do this again next year as it was a lovely race to do.
This was a fast, flat course (season's best - thank you!) and the organisation was faultless. Loads of marshalls all over the course and most were very encouraging (especially the 2 kids at about 7K). There was a very relaxed atmosphere and the route was extremely peaceful. The steel band brightened up a dreary day and my post race bacon butty was perfect. Well done, great race.
