Join Essex Bat Group and Lee Valley Regional Park staff to learn about the bats of the Lee Valley!
During your time with us, you'll have an illustrated talk and a night-time walk through the park with bat detectors.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available during the evening
Please wear comfortable, warm clothes as the walk will take a few hours
Please bring a torch for the walk if you have one, as it will be dark on our return
All children must be accompanied by an adult
There are only 25 spaces on this walk, so make sure you book your space early!
There is ample parking at Lee Valley Park Farm
The Farms are two miles north of Waltham Abbey on the B194 and just four miles from the M25. Parking at the Farms is FREE. Sat nav postcode: EN9 2EF.
By train: the nearest station is Cheshunt, it is then a pleasant two mile walk through River Lee Country Park to the Farms. Follow the signs through this beautiful country park.
By bus: buses stop outside Lee Valley White Water Centre, Waltham Abbey (buses 250, 251). The farms are a two mile walk through River Lee Country Park.
