A Walk in the Park - River Lee Country Park Sculpture Trail
Join us for another of our 50th Anniversary celebration Walk in the Park strolls. You will have a leisurely and scenic walk to explore the River Lee Country Park and discover a series of sculptures dotted around the area.
Many of the sculptures are made in different styles and from different materials but they're all tell a story and are here to be enjoyed. Take in the beauty of these fantastic works of art, touch, climb and explore them to your heart's content.
The walk will also wind through the beautiful River Lee Country Park which is full of wildlife - you can look out for Muntjac Deer and at this time of year there may be plenty of autumn bird migration. Watch for Hobbies catching dragonflies about the reedbeds or Swallows and Martins that may be building up ready for the journey to Africa. There may still be some Common Terns, particularly young ones feeding up for their migration to the west coast of Africa for the winter.
The meeting point for this walk is in Pindar car park which is just past Cheshunt train station, near the Lee Valley Youth Hostel and Herts Young Mariners base.
