A Walk in the Park - Cornmill Meadows and Waltham Abbey Gardens

Celebrating 50 years of Lee Valley Regional Park Authority, join us for 'A Walk in the Park' and take in the breath taking scenery and history of Cornmill Meadows and Waltham Abbey Gardens.

Once one of the largest Augustinian abbeys in the country, with information panels all around the site bring its history to life, this scenic and social walk is great all all - including the dog!

Top tips

  • Please wear suitable and comfortable clothing for the walk

  • Bring some water and snacks to keep yourself energized

  • Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead

  • Meeting point at Waltham Abbey Gardens car park. Parking charges may apply

By train: the nearest station is Waltham Cross on the Liverpool Street line (20 minute walk)

By bus: the 251 goes from the station to the town

By car: Waltham Abbey is a 5 minute drive from the M25 (J26)
