Keeping our visitors, staff and volunteers safe is our top priority. We’ve reviewed the Government’s latest advice on Coronavirus to see how we can start to get some of our sports and leisure venues open, something we’ll only do if we it be done safely and with measures which make activities viable.

The marina has a fully equipped work shop with qualified marine engineers onsite
Lee Valley Marina at Stanstead Abbotts in Hertfordshire provides all marina services.
The marina is situated in Lee Valley Regional Park a few miles north of the junction with the River Lee. The River Lee is connected to the national waterways system by the Hertford Union Canal and the River Thames giving over 2,500 miles of cruising waterways.
The marina offers moorings, chandlery, all boat yard services and a professional engineering and refit service. There's a crane on site to lift boats up to 70 feet in length and 18 ton in weight. Boat Safety Certificates and surveys can be facilitated on site. Boats can be refitted, welded, blacked and painted. All types of engine can be serviced or repaired. There are moorings for up to 200 boats and storage facilities on land to carry out boat repairs.
The chandlery on site stocks a large range of products particularly for canal boats and inland waterways cruisers. If you haven’t got a boat yet or wish to upgrade, the marina operates a boat brokerage service.
The marina is well situated to visit the many attractions of the park and the local nature reserves including RSPB Rye Meads and Amwell Nature Reserves.
The picturesque village of Stanstead Abbots has a mainline train station (on the London Liverpool Street line), a small supermarket with ATM machine, Post Office and several other shops as well as a number of public houses, restaurants and cafés.
There are further shops and facilities including supermarkets and banks in the nearby towns of Ware, Hoddesdon, Harlow and Hertford.
There’s also the whole of Lee Valley Regional Park to explore with its traffic free trails, perfect for walking, cycling or running with lots of wildlife and fauna to see. There’s a huge range of leisure activities including camping, ice skating, horse riding, white water rafting, golf, visitor farm or relax in our beautiful gardens.
