The house is situated in the grounds of eight acres of gardens which have been lovingly restored and host an impressive range of plants and artefacts collected by renowned Victorian plantsman E A Bowles, whose home this once was. Myddelton House is ideal for intimate ceremonies and receptions for up to 50 people.

Our elegant ceremony room has a host of period features, looks into the Victorian Conservatory and is licensed for marriages and civil partnerships. The room is available for exclusive hire on weekends and public holidays for intimate ceremonies or occassions for up to 50 people.

Our gardens cater for marquee receptions for up to 100 guests in a picturesque location. With features such as the tranquil lake, wisteria bridge, manicured lawns and formal gardens, it's the perfect setting for your photographs.

Prices
If you want to hire the room for just your ceremony only you can hire a three hour time period on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday Monday between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00 at £500. You can book room hire at weekends and on public holidays.

Each room has a maximum capacity of 44 people.

The gardens are also open to the public in the summer between the hours of 09:30 to 18:00 and in the winter 09:30 to 16:30 and after these times you would have exclusive use.

Before you confirm your booking you'll need to check with the Registry Office that there's a Registrar available to conduct the ceremony on your chosen date and time. Full information on what you need to do can be found on the Enfield Council website.
