Our hockey and tennis courses, sessions, disability programmes, tennis courts and hockey pitches are bookable in advance and you can simply turn up and play tennis if there's a court available. Take advantage of children’s school holiday sessions in both sports, enjoy coaching and training sessions or watch great sport at events throughout the year. Creating a permanent hockey legacy was one of the pledges in London’s Olympic bid, and the opening of Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre delivers on this promise, along with outstanding tennis facilities – all available to everyone.
The world class venue, which hosted the wheelchair tennis during the Paralympic Games, has outstanding provision for both sports, and will also bring the world’s best players to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for great tournaments.
The venue is run by Lee Valley Regional Park Authority which is committed to delivering enduring benefits for both sports for many years to come by capitalising on the opportunities presented from the staging of the world’s greatest sporting festival, where Team GB’s women’s hockey team took bronze.
Two brand new water based hockey pitches, among the finest playing surfaces in the country are complemented by four indoor tennis courts in a spectacular tennis hall and six outdoor hard courts.
Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre combines community and elite use. It caters for players competing at international level, to clubs, schools, enthusiasts and people new to both sports. It will host the Investec London Cup in July, the 2015 Euro Hockey Championships and three years of Wheelchair Tennis Championships each November from 2014.

Due to the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Masters, our indoor tennis courts will be closed from Wednesday 19 November - Monday 1 December. The centre and our outdoor tennis courts will be closed from Wednesday 26 – Sunday 30 November for the event. During this time, all hockey pitches will also be unavailable and there will be limited access to the centre. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
