Volunteer of the Year 2017

On Monday 16 October over 80 volunteers and staff members attended our yearly volunteer appreciation party at Lee Valley White Water Centre from 6pm to 9pm. Awards were presented at 6:30pm by Will Hobhouse - the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire, Derrick Ashley Vice Chairman of the board of members and Shaun Dawson Chief Executive Officer of Lee Valley Regional Park Authority.

You can now submit a nomination for the 2018 Lee Valley Park Volunteer of the Year Awards.

The 2018 Volunteer of the Year awards covers activities and support undertaken by volunteers during 2017.

At present we have over 800 volunteers who give a tremendous amount of their time and enthusiasm to help make the Lee Valley Regional Park a wonderful venue for Nature, Sport and Discovery activities. They are a fantastic asset to the Park and we are keen to acknowledge the valuable work that they do.
