Freedom of Information Requests

All Freedom of Information requests must be made in writing (this includes e-mail and fax). 
 
Environmental Information requests can be made either in writing or verbally over the phone or in person.
Your request must include:
A clear description of what information you are looking for
A contact name
An address for correspondence (or an email address)
 
Please check the Authority's Publication Scheme which will inform you what information is readily accessible before making an information request.
 
 
 
 
 
The FOI Act and EIRs recognise that there are valid reasons for withholding some information in response to a request. Unless information is covered by one of the exemptions it must be released if requested.
